Order Changes
Once an order is placed it is automatically moved into our order fulfillment queue. If you make a mistake, you may contact us and request a change but if the order is already in one of our warehouses and is being fulfilled, you must wait until the item arrives and then follow our easy return policy.
Shipping
We ship continental US addresses only (sorry, no International orders or P.O. Boxes at this time). Orders are generally fulfilled within 2-5 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location. Most orders will be delivered within 8 business days from the day of shipping. Weekends and holidays are excluded. Neither our shipping company nor we can be held responsible for delays due to acts of GOD or Nature.
When Will I Get My Order?
We know you are anxious to get your order and want to be sure it arrives promptly. When you successfully place an order, you will get an order notification and your order is automatically placed into our order fulfillment process.
For orders placed ground shipment, our order fulfillment process may take 2-5 business days. Then shipment occurs via UPS or FEDEX ground depending on the item ordered. Actual transit time runs 3 - 5 business days for ground. This time is additive to the order fulfillment time. So the total time will typically run a week to up two weeks. Orders placed near a holiday may take longer.
Returns
Please inspect goods IMMEDIATELY. If a box arrives and is significantly damaged, then contact us before opening. Any defects or damages MUST be reported within 5 business days of delivery date. All notifications must be directed to support@thesmartcook.com. No credit will be given for miscellaneous shipments back as we cannot trace these with any accuracy.

All merchandise must be returned in unopened and still wrapped condition to qualify. If you return an item opened and/or clearly used, they will be considered used and ineligible for refund and the item will be discarded without refund and without return. All items must be in new, mint condition. Refunds will be made as a credit to the payment mechanism used to purchase the item (e.g., credit cards and/or PayPal payments)
TheSmartCook.com does not refund cash under any circumstance. If you received an item as a gift you may direct us to refund the giftor's card or receive store credit in the form of a fully transferable gift certificate.
*TheSmartCook.com will refund 100% of the actual net price paid for the product (the order subtotal before shipping). Please note: Unless the return is due to an error on our part, shipping costs are not refunded. We recommend you use a reliable shipping service that provides tracking information so that you can check on your return shipment progress. TheSmartCook.com is not responsible for packages shipped back that get lost in the mail.
