The Perfect Housewarming Gift

Choosing the perfect housewarming gift doesn’t have to be hard.  Of course, knowing the hobbies and tastes of the new homeowner or apartment dweller makes it even easier. Before you buy, here are some ideas to get you started:

1- Is this the first house or apartment?  This is probably the easiest person to buy for because they need everything!  You can fill a basket with some basic kitchen or bath necessities - add scented candles for an extra nice touch. If you’d like to get them something they’ll use for years, consider getting them a classic set of ceramic bakeware.  They’re quite versatile and come in great modern colors to suit any taste.

2- Are they handy? Have some fun getting them small tools or a gift card from their favorite home supply store.  Do they like to work in the garden? Think about filling a bucket or planter with some new bulbs or vegetable plants, a garden trowel, gloves.  Do they love crafts? Head to the nearest craft store for some great kits, maybe something they can make for their new home - a painted shelf, a stepping stone.

4- Coffee or tea lover? Pick up some exoctic teas or a bag of their favorite roast along with a great set of mugs they can use every day.
